Agnes teaches undergraduate-level Academic Writing in the Data Science and Society BA program, and graduate-level Academic Writing and Policy Writing in the Departments of Public Policy, Network and Data Science, Economics and Business, Legal Studies, Environmental Sciences and Policy, Sociology and Social Anthropology, International Relations, and Cultural Heritage Studies. She has also given research and dissertation writing workshops to PhD students/researchers in the Economics PhD, Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) and Network Science PhD programs at CEU; the European University Institute, Italy; the European University of St. Petersburg, Russia; OSF's Central Asia Research and Training Initiative program, Turkey; and as part of CEU's involvement in Myanmar's higher education reforms. Prior to joining CEU in 2010, she taught Academic Writing, English for Specific Purposes, Communication and Specialist Translation at the Applied Linguistics Department at Eötvös Lóránd University and at Szent István University for 10 years. She has also been working as a freelance translator and proofreader for publishing companies and magazines. Her qualifications include an MA in English Language and Literature and a postgraduate degree in Translation with a specialization in Economics and Social Sciences. In 2012 she earned a postgraduate degree in Business Coaching and is dedicated to working together with people towards expanding or creating their potential in any given field. She served as the Director of CEU's Center for Academic Writing between 2015-17.
