Eva joined CEU in 2018 and she currently teaches graduate-level Academic and Policy Writing in the Departments of IR, Political Science and Economics in her capacity as CAW Lecturer. She has also worked with the Legal and Environmental Science Departments. In 2020, she co-designed and taught a new academic writing course for the undergraduate PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) programme. Prior to joining CEU, Eva taught Academic Writing, ESAP (English for Specific Academic Purposes), Business Communication, Negotiation, and Debating to undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as ESAP to MBA students at Corvinus University Budapest. She was also involved in MA level teacher training, acted as MA thesis supervisor to students, and designed and taught a short bespoke course to Chinese academics. Her international work experience includes teaching Academic Writing and Academic English at the University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, and tutoring postgraduate students in Gender and the Labour market at ifu (Internationale Frauenuniversitaet) Hanover.
Eva holds MA degrees in English and German Linguistics and Literature and a teaching qualification from ELTE, and an MSC in Human Resources Management from Corvinus University. She has co-authored a thematic English-Hungarian Business dictionary, two coursebooks for advanced level International Relations students, and published articles in journals.
